Hannover, Germany - 10 global commercial vehicles equipped with JJE’s electric drive products made their debut at 2022 IAA Transportation Hannover, the world's largest and most influential commercial vehicle exhibition, from September 20th to 25th. This year’s IAA focuses on sustainable transformation of the logistics and transport industry. JJE continues to demonstrate its leading position in the global commercial vehicle electric drive industry.

 

The models equipped with Jing-Jin Electric products at the IAA include:

 

MAN

MAN launched its latest heavy duty eTruck at IAA. The vehicle is equipped with a high power-density, high efficiency silicon carbide inverter from JJE. The eTruck is expected to be launched in 2024, providing electrification solutions for long-distance transportation.

 

SCANIA

At the IAA, Scania brought multiple BEV1 and BEV2 platform vehicles and showed the drive system for its next-generation BEV3 platform. JJE provides high-efficiency silicon carbide inverters for Scania's next-generation platform.

 

SAIC MAXUS

SAIC MAXUS brought many vehicles to the IAA. Among them, the eDELIVER 9 light commercial van is equipped with JJE’s SD220 electric motor.  The MAXUS T90 electric pickup truck and the newest MAXUS Electric Light Truck are equipped with JJE’s SD220 electric motor and single-speed reduction gearbox. MAXUS has become one of the most popular electric light commercial vehicle brands in Europe.

 

DAF

DAF brought electric XD and XF heavy trucks to this IAA. Depending on the battery capacity, the mileage on a single charge ranges from 200 kilometers to over 500 kilometers. The vehicles adopt the electric drive system from PACCAR, which has JJE’s latest SD365 high-power hairpin electric motor and silicon carbide inverter.

 

IVECO

IVECO showed full range of eDAILY vehicles evolved from its legendary DAILY series: vans, cab chassis and light buses, with vehicle weight ranging from 3.5 tons to 7.2 tons. These vehicles are driven by JJE’s SD220 or SD240 electric motors.

 

IVECO Group and Hyundai Motor Company also launched the first eDAILY fuel cell electric vehicle at the IAA. The eDAILY FCEV prototype is equipped with Hyundai's 90kW hydrogen fuel cell system and JJE’s SD240 electric motor.

 

DONGFENG MOTORS

China’s DONGFENG MOTORS brought its full line of electrified light commercial vehicles. DONGFENG MOTORS’s EV35 light commercial van is driven by JJE’s SD180 electric motor and single-speed reduction gearbox.

 

Over the next 12 months, JJE will launch multiple new or updated eDrive systems that help global customers achieve next level performance and efficiency for their electric commercial vehicles.
